Swereview Cottage |
The main entrance to the cottage goes into a large lobby area. A great place to leave your boots after a hike in the country. |
The lounge, with two large sofas, and the dining area. |
The large window in the lounge has a stunning view of the Swere valley. |
The dining area. Daffodils seasonal! |
The modern kitchen is well equipped. It can, and has, cooked a full Christmas dinner! |
The bathroom has a very large shower but no bath. It also houses the washer/drier. |
The number one bedroom is on the ground floor. It has a comfortable king sized bed and a large built in wardrobe. This houses the broadband computer. |
The second bedroom. The twin Hypnos beds will combine to make a super king sized. |
The top of the stairs in the second bedroom. |
The space saving staircase to the second bedroom is quite steep. It may not be suitable for the infirm. |
The French windows in the lounge open on to a decking area. We must take a new photo of this in the summer as there are now many more flowers. |
The view from the garden. The same view will be had from the cottage lounge. |
The view from the top of our drive. Our second cottage is the right hand end of the terrace, just behind the trees. |
Swerford village is in two parts. This is Chapel End. |
This is the Church End of the village. |
And Swereview Cottage lies between Church End and Chapel End, right by the 'white' pear tree. |
The twelth century motte and bailey castle which is just down the road from Swereview. |
